The Domestix
"When the Domestix burst onto the scene they were on the wave of funk and disco which they some how managed to marry perfectly with the rougher and rawer elemnets of rock and roll and early metal. The band appealed to both fan bases and in time created a genre known as 'RockGo' or 'Domestic Roll'. It was often immitated but very seldom matched.
Some albums were a conflicting contrast with little theme but some how the bands signature music only defined the LP's in a period specific uniqueness.
Though short lived, the Domestix age of music is one colourful and powerful era that gave us many moments and memories that everyone can and will enjoy."
Paul Swarel, Maksim Magazine 2003.

Lyrics to Domesticated
From the depths of the jungle I came
Like a wild furious enigma
No concept of order or law
Just a man of flesh and instinct
Stopped by you
Caught by you
Trapped by you
Tamed by you
And then I was Domesticated !
Domesticated like a lion to a tabby
A wolf to a poodle
I became your Pet !
Wild talons manicured, my fangs smoothed away
My lusting loins dressed
What did you do to me woman !?
How could you take away the animal?
The call of the wild beckons me
The sounds of the jungle taunt me
The hunger of the flesh tempt me
But damned you woman and this cage of love
I became domesticated !
Domesticated like a lion to a tabby
A wolf to a poodle
I became your Pet !
Now my wings are clipped
My hooves are shoed
My neck collared
and my heart is leashed
Im just your domestic love pet
And baby....sssshhhh but this
feral animal wouldnt have it any other way.
Domesticated !
Im domesticated !
Im domesticated !
Im domesticated by a woman !
I became domesticated !
Domesticated like a lion to a tabby
A wolf to a poodle
I became your Pet !
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
